What we look at.
How is the score calculated?
About half comes from how many of the job description’s most frequent terms appear in your resume, and the rest from structural checks: standard section headings, contact details, length, quantified achievements, action-oriented language, and parser-friendly formatting.
Is this how every ATS works?
No. Employers use different systems and configure them differently. Our checker reflects widely recommended practices rather than any single vendor’s scoring.
Is my resume stored?
No. The free check runs entirely in your browser, so your resume is never uploaded or saved. PDF, Word and image files are also read inside your browser.
